Why we don't use essential oils in our every-day products. The long-term effects of essential oil use still are not completely understood. For instance, some essential oils may make skin more sensitive to sun. Certain chemical components in essential oils mimic the body's own hormones. And skin may become sensitized to essential oils if they are used every day, limiting their effectiveness when you need them most. At Softress, we think it's safest to avoid all chemicals, even natural ones, in skin products meant for daily use.

Unless eczema is caused by an identifiable food or environmental allergy, it's a condition without a known "cure."
