Compare our ingredients to Eucerin or Cetaphil
Unlike Eucerin, Cetaphil and other so-called dry skin lotions, E-Blend is completely chemical free. Eucerin "dry skin therapy" contains ingredients classified as hazardous or irritating by the Environmental Working Group, including urea (second ingredient), mineral oil (third ingredient), sodium lactate, and benzyl alcohol. Cetaphil contains petroleum products, benzyl alcohol, and lye. E-Blend contains whole plant oils and antioxidants. Which would you rather put on your skin?

Why we don't use essential oils in our every-day products
The long-term effects of essential oil use still are not completely understood. For instance, some essential oils may make skin more sensitive to sun. Certain chemical components in essential oils mimic the body's own hormones. And skin may become sensitized to essential oils if they are used every day, limiting their effectiveness when you need them most. At Softress, we think it's safest to avoid all chemicals, even natural ones, in skin products meant for daily use.

About eczema
Eczema is a broad term covering a variety of skin conditions that can be caused by anything from allergies to inherited disorders to diabetes. Unless eczema is caused by an identifiable food or environmental allergy, it's a condition without a known "cure."
In fact, anyone who claims to have a skin product that will cure eczema is not telling the truth. Even steroid creams are not a cure; they only relieve eczema's symptoms.
